Ceramic Crowns & Veneers

Ceramic Crowns & Veneers

Restore strength or refine your smile

Ceramic crowns and veneers serve different purposes. A crown covers a tooth that needs protection or rebuilding; a veneer covers the front surface to change its appearance. At Silverlake Dental Group, we examine your teeth and bite before recommending either approach so the restoration meets your needs.

Choosing the right restoration

A crown may be appropriate for a heavily damaged tooth, a large failing filling, or a tooth after root canal treatment. Veneers may address selected concerns with shape, color, or spacing. We discuss how much tooth preparation is involved, alternatives, and the importance of healthy gums before beginning cosmetic treatment.

Digital planning and follow-up

Our in-office CEREC workflow can make suitable ceramic restorations in one appointment. The best material and timing depend on your case; not every tooth or restoration follows the same process. We check fit, shade, and bite, then explain how to care for the result. Daily brushing, cleaning between teeth, and regular examinations help protect both the restoration and the natural tooth beneath it.
