Evaluating wisdom teeth

Not every wisdom tooth needs removal. We assess its position, available space, surrounding gums, and effects on nearby teeth. Imaging helps us understand the roots and nearby structures. Pain, repeated infections, decay, or an impacted tooth may make removal advisable. We explain the findings and any alternatives before scheduling treatment.

Comfort and recovery

The practice offers sedation options, including IV sedation when appropriate. The surgical team reviews medications and medical conditions and gives instructions about eating, transportation, and supervision if sedation is planned. After surgery, follow the written guidance for bleeding, swelling, food, and cleaning.
