A dentist near Echo Park

Silverlake Dental Group is at 2390 Glendale Blvd in Silver Lake. Glendale Boulevard runs along Echo Park Lake, so getting to us from Echo Park is one road and about 2 miles north. Our office brings a general dentist, an oral surgeon, a periodontist and an endodontist together under one roof.

Getting here from Echo Park

  • By car: from Echo Park Lake, take Glendale Boulevard north and stay on it the whole way, about 2 miles, to our office.
  • By bus: Metro Line 92 runs along Glendale Boulevard from Downtown LA through Echo Park and Silver Lake to Glendale and Burbank. Ride north and get off near the Silver Lake Branch Library, which is right across the street from us. Metro’s trip planner shows the nearest stop and the current schedule.
  • If you work downtown, the same Line 92 starts in Downtown LA, with stops at Main and 11th and at Temple and Grand, so you can come straight from the office.

Parking

We have a free lot behind our building, with no meters and no time limits, so you don’t need to look for a spot on Glendale Boulevard.

Around the office

Maury’s Bagels on Bellevue Avenue, right on the Silver Lake–Echo Park border, is one of the neighborhood’s favorite stops, known for small-batch sourdough bagels and smoked fish. Closer to us, the Silver Lake Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library is across the street, and Gingergrass, the Silver Lake Vietnamese restaurant, is next door. Specialists in one office

Dr. Joshua Barkhordar is our general dentist. When you need more, the specialist is in the same building: Dr. Babak Bobby Aminpour (oral surgery, including wisdom teeth), Dr. Nathan Eshoiee (periodontics and dental implants) and Dr. Joseph Kim (endodontics and root canals). No referral across town.

  • Tuesday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Friday 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
  • Saturday by appointment only; closed Sunday

We offer same-day emergency appointments Monday through Friday. If you are in pain, call us first thing.
