A dentist near Glendale

Silverlake Dental Group is at 2390 Glendale Blvd in Silver Lake, about 5 miles by car from Downtown Glendale and the Americana at Brand. We are on the Silver Lake side of the Los Angeles River, across from Atwater Village, and our office brings a general dentist, an oral surgeon, a periodontist and an endodontist together under one roof.

Getting here from Glendale

  • By freeway: take the 5 south toward Los Angeles and exit at Fletcher Drive. Turn right on Fletcher Drive, then left on Glendale Boulevard. Our office is about a third of a mile down Glendale Boulevard.
  • By surface streets: Brand Boulevard becomes Glendale Boulevard as you leave Glendale. It runs through Atwater Village and crosses the river on the Glendale-Hyperion Bridge into Silver Lake. The City of Los Angeles began a multi-year renovation of that bridge in 2026, expected to run until about 2031, so check traffic before you leave.
  • By bus: Metro Line 92 runs down Brand Boulevard and Glendale Boulevard, with a stop at Brand and Broadway in Downtown Glendale. Ride south toward Silver Lake and get off near the Silver Lake Branch Library, which is right across the street from us. Metro’s trip planner shows the nearest stop and the current schedule.

Parking

We have a free lot behind our building, with no meters and no time limits, so you don’t need to look for a spot on Glendale Boulevard.

Around the office

The Silver Lake Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library is across the street from us, Gingergrass, the Silver Lake Vietnamese restaurant, is next door, and Whole Foods is two blocks away, so it is easy to fit an errand around your visit. Read more in our Silver Lake neighborhood guide.

Specialists in one office

Dr. Joshua Barkhordar is our general dentist. When you need more, the specialist is in the same building: Dr. Babak Bobby Aminpour (oral surgery, including wisdom teeth), Dr. Nathan Eshoiee (periodontics and dental implants) and Dr. Joseph Kim (endodontics and root canals). One trip covers it.

  • Friday 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
  • Saturday by appointment only; closed Sunday
