No more impression putty

Silverlake Dental Group takes digital impressions with a handheld intraoral scanner. A small wand is moved around your teeth while it records thousands of images that are combined into an accurate 3D model.

Why it helps

Digital impressions are more comfortable than trays of impression material, there is no gagging or bad taste, and the model can be shared instantly with a lab or used for in-office design. Accuracy supports a better fit for crowns, aligners and guards.

What to expect

Scanning usually takes a few minutes. You can watch the 3D model build on the screen, and we can rescan any area right away if more detail is needed.
