Clear images, less radiation

Silverlake Dental Group uses digital X-rays, which capture images with an electronic sensor instead of film. Digital sensors need significantly less radiation than traditional film X-rays.

Why it helps

Images appear on screen within seconds and can be enlarged and adjusted to reveal decay, bone loss and infections more clearly. There is no chemical processing, and images can be shared easily with specialists or your insurance when needed.

What to expect

A small sensor is placed in your mouth for a moment for each image. We take X-rays only when they are needed for your care, and we are happy to talk about how often they are recommended for you.
