Crowns without the long wait

Silverlake Dental Group uses chairside milling to make many crowns during the same appointment. After the tooth is prepared and digitally scanned, the crown is designed on screen and carved from a solid block of tooth-colored ceramic by a precise milling unit in the office.

Why it helps

A same-day crown can mean one visit instead of two, no temporary crown to protect for weeks, and fewer rounds of numbing. The ceramic is strong, natural-looking and color-matched to your neighboring teeth.

What to expect

Plan for a longer single visit while the crown is designed and milled. Once it is finished, the doctor checks the fit and your bite, then bonds it in place. Not every tooth or material is right for same-day milling; we will explain the options for your situation.
